Meet the SBSA Sweety branding studio
Meet the SBS
SBS was idealised in the end of 2011 by Isabela Rodrigues,
so far a freelancer and employee of one of the most renowned creative production company, Santa Transmedia.
She dreamt of creating a studio which would represent her thoughtful and refined work, practically artisanal pieces, and full of life.
Our goal is to elevate the design to a collectible level, the sweety level, where the person who acquires one of our products and designs, will have such a strong emotional bond that they won’t want to throw it away (only if recycling, okay?).
Founder & Creative Director
Graduated from CEFET-RS, Isabela dedicated herself to the digital world from a very young age, but her true love has always been tactile design.
Needs challenges constantly and believes that you can’t go through a day without learning something new.
Because of that, after more than a decade of work, she decided to unravel a new world and deepen her knowledge in packaging and structural design, and today, lives in full happiness working on what she loves the most together with the team.
“If you can’t do it with 101% of love and dedication, don’t even start.”
Elisa is about to graduate in Public Relations. During her formation, she learned how to understand people, but most part of her knowledge she acquired from several experiences she had while traveling. As well as traveling, one of her big passions is learning foreign languages. Elisa can speak english, spanish, french, and is currently learning italian. Her skills fit ideally in our studio, considering that we contact people from all over the world. All these attributes, combining with her passion about art and culture, make her a great attendance professional.
“Life calls the tune, we dance.” John Galsworthy
Currently finishing his graduation in Graphic Design, Rafael has always liked the visual aspects of the world.
Passionate about branding, he believes design can transform the companies and the society.
Outside of design, Rafael’s biggest passion is traveling and meeting new people, places and cultures.
He has lived in London and feels like the british capital is the best place on earth.
“It takes a very long time to become young.” Pablo Picasso
Partner & Interior Architect
Akel Neto together with Isabela Rodrigues created and shaped what the studio is today.
He is responsible for the direction and coordination of the Interior Architect, a new core of SBS which has already given us important and memorable results.
With a passion for architecture, Akel Neto is an essential base in developing more technical and structural designs.
“Form ever follows functions” Louis Sullivan
Studying Graphic Design at UniRitter, Alexandre was the kind of kid who was engaged to drawing and inventing worlds made of Lego. As a teenager, he attended illustration and comics courses, where he tried to create his own games. Passionate about design, illustration and visual arts, he is also really enthusiastic about the complexity of things we are able to see and those we aren’t. Obsessed about knowledge, he can’t live without learning new things and also finds in typography and calligraphy some exciting new directions for his work.
“Die knowing something, you are not here long.”
Post-Graduated in Strategic Design from Unisinos, Ariane used to work with advertising, but graphic design has always been her passion. Frequently attends news courses and workshops in different areas, because she believes that we are constantly learning.
Passionate about many things, specially photography and illustration, she is always looking at the world as a frame, ready to reveal the story behind it. For her, illustration is a tool to tell stories about people and places, as well as connecting them. That’s why she spend a lot of time traveling with her camera and sketchbook talking to people: everyone has a nice story to tell.
